So happy this place opened in new Lenox. The staff is friendly, the space is cozy with plenty of seating, and the drinks/food is so good. I personally like the iced matcha with oat milk and vanilla! The dirty chai is also great. Highly recommend this place.

Grounded Coffee Bar and Grounded Books is one of my favorite places in New Lenox. The coffee shop has spectacular service and quality items. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. It’s the perfect space to cozy up with a book, share coffee with a friend, or hunker down and do some work. There is plenty of space to meet in small groups and they offer the option to utilize the space for meetings and groups. It’s perfect! The book shop is extraordinary. The selection is so phenomenal - there truly is something for everyone and every genre. I also LOVE the merch!! Bookish tops, candles, and more - perfect gifts for your fellow bookworm.
I love Grounded Coffee Bar and Bookstore in New Lenox. You can pop in for a coffee and a snack, or stay for a few hours and enjoy lunch, browse the bookstore, smell the candles, and feel good about supporting a local business. It’s a great addition to our village!
I very much enjoyed my experience at grounded. I say that because the atmosphere was just so pretty snd it felt warm and cozy inside. The service was amazing bc they were so friendly and welcoming. The food was very good. I had a blueberry muffin and it was delicious and I also had an ice chai that was also delicious.
This place is so cute and the coffee is amazing! It's the perfect place to hang out or even work from. I had an iced mocha and my husband had the nitro cold brew. Both were delicious! The nitro cold brew is one of the best I've had. We both had a breakfast bagel as well, which was good. :) Definitely going back.
I love this location. The cafe is open and spacious and the bookstore is so lovely. The drink varieties are superb with lovely seating options (however could have more). The cons are: highway robbery pricing with coffee, overpriced breakfast sandwiches with a lot to be desired price wise, and slow service. This place will still stay 5 stars for me for the atmosphere and delicious coffee but better pricing and breakfast options would be a game changer and make the place accessible to people of all classes.
This cafe manages to feel lively without becoming chaotic, which honestly isn’t easy these days. I came here with coworkers after a meeting and we stayed for over an hour talking comfortably. I ordered pasta and an iced americano. The pasta portion was decent and tasted fresh instead of reheated. My drink came with regular milk instead of almond milk at first, though they corrected it immediately and apologized sincerely. Employees seemed genuinely attentive to customers even during a fairly busy dinner rush inside the cafe.

This coffee bar is huge with lots of variety in seating. We ordered tea, coffee and the bagel sandwich, which was outstanding. The barista failed to make a cappuccino with our order, promptly apologized and then issued a credit for the coffee. Mistakes happen, but how you handle them is what makes the difference. This establishment understands customer service for sure.
